Landscape Crew Leader

Turfscape, an industry leading commercial lawn maintenance company is currently looking to hire a couple crew leaders to add to our growing company. With operational facilities in North Canton and Twinsburg, Turfscape has proudly served NE Ohio since 1988 partnering with commercial organization providing year round grounds maintenance and snow removal.

A Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for:

• The daily task of managing a landscaping crew
• Assign daily tasks to crews of 2-5 employees according to weather and facility's maintenance schedule.
• Responsible for training new and existing crew members as necessary. Serves as point of contact for crew members.
• Assist with loading and unloading of work trucks and delivery trucks.
• Responsible for driving to and from assigned facilities to perform landscape services or snow removal.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years landscape industry experience required
• Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience preferred

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a valid state driver’s license
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
• Knowledge of all phases of landscaping projects
• Ability to lead, develop, and mentor crew members
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail in all responsibilities and duties
