  • Shift: Days: 8, Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Work Location: Onsite; Redwood City, CA

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the client's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social capabilities.
  • Evaluate the client's ability to perform daily activities and identify areas of difficulty or dysfunction.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish personalized, achievable goals based on their needs and priorities.
  • Develop individualized intervention plans that address the client's specific challenges and goals.
  • Provide hands-on therapy to improve clients' motor skills, coordination, balance, strength, and other functional abilities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and progress notes.
  • Generate reports and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, ensuring they receive the necessary support for optimal functioning.\
  • Promote awareness of occupational therapy and its benefits in various communities.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Collaborate with educators, employers, and community resources to support clients in various environments.


RequirementsEducation Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum with either a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree
Licenses and Certifications
  • Clinical\BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Rehab\OTL - Occupational Therapist
  • Must have MOCA certification, and current NBCOT in addition to CA license,
Experience
  • 0-2 years clinical practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Have at least 2 yrs experience in an acute care hospital
