Key Responsibilities:

As a BCBA at Opal Autism Centers, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral analysis services to individuals with autism. Your primary responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments, creating and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective behavior intervention services. You will also meet performance metrics that contribute to the center’s operational efficiency and clinical excellence.

  • Clinical Service Delivery: Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week, conduct initial assessments promptly, update treatment plans regularly, and implement tailored interventions.
  • Supervision: Provide written feedback to RBTs and oversee student analysts pursuing BCBA certification.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate session notes, correct billing, and timely conversions of initial assessments to ongoing treatment.
  • Client and Family Engagement: Hold regular meetings with parents/guardians to discuss progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Operational Compliance: Fulfill pod assignments, maintain compliance with regulatory and training requirements, and uphold the center’s cancellation policy.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • North Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (NC-LBA) required.
  • Proven experience in clinical behavior analysis, preferably with individuals diagnosed with autism.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in evidence-based behavioral treatment methodologies.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be willing to commute to work in the center (no remote services).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity.
  • Physically able to move from a standing position to one knee and back up without assistance.
  • Normal range of motion in arms, legs, hips, wrists, back, neck, etc.
  • Role may involve lifting, twisting, pulling, or pushing up to 60 lbs., with adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
