Job Type: Part-time

Job Pay: $16.00-$17.00 Depending upon experience and cerifications

Schedule: 6hrs Monday-Friday (7am-1pm)

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cook
  • The kitchen must be conducted in strict compliance with the Health Department and all other applicable legislation
  • Menu planning-Menus are required to meet USDA Child Nutrition Meal
  • Daily Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks
  • Operating equipment used in the center cafeteria
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Clean utensils, equipment, and storage, food preparation and serving areas for maintaining sanitary conditions
  • The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands:
    • significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, frequent climbing and balancing, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity
  • Must have North Carolina Qualification Letter
  • Must have physical on file according to the childcare rules
  • Must have Tuberculosis vaccine
License/Certification:
ServSafe (preferred)
CPR/First Aid (preferred)
