Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with S Corps, partnerships, and business returns. This role will involve preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Coordinate with the tax department supervisor to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Advise clients on tax strategies and planning
• Represent clients in audits, appeals, collections, liens, and levies
• Manage multi-state tax filings and compliance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Provide excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Accounting (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Active EA license Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting
• Proven experience with S Corps, partnerships, and business returns
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in industries such as farming, entertainment, real estate, and small businesses
• Proven track record of client-facing roles and client relationship management
