Financial Analyst

Job Summary

This Position is for a Financial Analyst that will work supporting a 65M+ million Area. The market consists of several waste hauling locations, Landfills. Recycling Centers and Transfer Stations located in Colorado. The incumbent will work with management on finding efficiencies within the business and new business opportunities. This employee will also assist with board decks, financial analysis, operating stats and assist with financial preparation when needed.

Essential Functions

Financial Analysis

  • Review income statements and find areas of concern.
  • Review and help prepare pro-formas.
  • Determine price/volume results and determine areas of opportunity.
  • Oversee stats to make sure we have information needed to make business decisions.
  • Work with operations on routing efficiencies and operational opportunities.
  • Create pricing models for each line of business.

Presentations

  • Prepare presentations for acquisition opportunities.
  • Preparations of Board Decks.
  • Complete monthly operating review files.
  • Assist with HOA or municipal bid presentations.

Accounting

  • Assist with month-end duties if needed.
  • Manage the forecasting process.
  • Assist with budgeting.
  • Complete financial reviews with management.
