Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewJoin a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge scientific and medical devices, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art injection molding and automation equipment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-precision machinery, troubleshooting, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift: 1st ShiftPay: $30-$36/hour (experience dependent)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on injection molding equipment, robots, assembly machines, printing, and packaging equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions across various machines.
  • Repair and maintain electrical controls, including servicing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices based on electronic principles.
  • Repair and calibrate robot arms, controls, and pick-and-place locations.
  • Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities as required.
  • Monitor processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to address them.
  • Perform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and safety in the work environment.
  • Comply with all company policies, including 5S guidelines and Lock Out/Tag Out rules.
  • Fluently operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel and external technical support for troubleshooting and brainstorming solutions.

Preferred/Required Education/Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
  • Experience with injection molding required.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Koyo, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).
  • Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics required.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience preferred).
  • Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
