The US Payroll Team Leader oversees a small team of support staff within an organization known for its repetitive and transactional processes. They play a pivotal role in driving process improvement initiatives, contributing their expertise to refine existing procedures. Their responsibilities include guiding team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining a thorough understanding of the functional area they supervise. Through their leadership and expertise, they help ensure the smooth and accurate operation of payroll processes within the organization.


As a member of our team, you will:?

  • Coordinate payroll processing operations for the team.
  • Monitor workflow, team assignments, and processing deadlines.
  • Verify accurate calculation of wages, tax withholding, and company deductions.
  • Assist team members with resolving errors or responding to inquiries.
  • Prepare reports on employee pay, commissions, bonuses, and leave.
  • Coordinate the distribution of paychecks and direct deposit programs.
  • Provide training to team members on policies, regulations, and processes.
  • Typically report to a manager.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in US payroll processing.
  • At least 2 years experience as a Team Lead in the BPO industry is preferred.
