Job DescriptionJob Description

The purpose of this position is to develop capabilities using Python scripts and packages, web-based applications, and automated workflows on cloud environment to enable analysts to analyze and extract insights from massive data stores.

Overall responsibilities of the position include:

Full Stack Software Development in a Cloud environment.

Product-design from conceptualization, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review.

Developing innovative user-interface designs in response to marketing requirements, user analyses, product innovation, technology, and business needs.

Developing conceptual models, workflows, design prototypes, and user-interface specifications.

Ensuring user-interface guidelines and standards are followed during the development and maintenance of the product.

Conducting and/or participating in product usability tests.

Requirements

  • Experience using Python, Javascript, SQL, and Git
  • Experience operating in cloud environment and leveraging cloud resources to develop software solutions.
  • Experience designing and deploying software systems for intelligence analysts, displaying a deep understanding of how to fill all of the front-end and back-end parts together.
  • Experience in data visualization and graph theory-based methods.
  • Experience with CSS, HTML, or web based development.
  • Experience using containerization such as Docker or developing and deploying containerized applications and databases.
  • Experience with user-centered design principles and practices, web standards, typography and color, and web usability standards.
  • Experience using Git for versioning.
  • Experience developing algorithms to support graph theory-based methods.
