We are hiring for a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in beautiful Georgetown, CA. As we grow our business, this is a newly created role. For that reason, we are flexible with both the skillset and hours you're available to work. This role will work a minimum of 32 hours per week and has the option to work up to 50 hours per week, based on your interest and available work. Available shifts include day shift or second shift.


In this role, you will be trained to:

· Operate multiple styles of CNC machines – Lathes, Vertical Mills & 5th Axis Mills.

· Gain familiarity machining new parts using GibbsCam, prototyping and running new program prove-outs is a plus.

· Perform all aspects of CNC machining operations including setups, production machining, and part inspection using calipers and mics.

· Read and interpret blueprints specifications.

Requirements:

Experience:

1 year experience CAM/G-Code programming highly desirable.

Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC milling machines, machining steels, aluminum and plastic required.


Skills:

Proficiently set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines.

Read drawings in English

Proper use of required measuring tools


The salary range for this role is $25.00-45.00/hr. Candidates on the higher end of the scale will have 10+ years of machinist experience plus programming experience.
