Job Description

  • Conduct and complete NVH testing on vehicles, sub-systems and components as requested.
  • Interpret the test request. 
  • Review and understand NVH test standards. 
  • Operate the vehicle during data acquisition. 
  • Provide subjective evaluations as required. 
  • Perform NVH data post processing. 
  • Generate test reports. 
  • Work with Union Mechanics / Technicians. 
  • Support process improvement actions in the organization to improve operational and economic efficiencies. 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or other related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university. 
  • 2 years of related experience – testing and NVH experience preferred. 
  • Fundamental understanding of overall vehicle functionality. 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools. 

Preferred Requirements 

  • Demonstrated capability in effectively using NVH measurements and tools i.e. LMS Testlab, Matlab, Head Acoustics Artemis. 
  • Prior experience in product management, homologation, regulations and/or NVH in an automotive company. 
  • Proven record of demonstrating the ability to solve technical problems. 
  • Testing and NVH experience.
