- Painting Functions: Perform a variety of painting tasks, including preparation, application, and finishing.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with the team, learning from experienced painters and contributing your skills.
- Project Participation: Participate in painting projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, offering recommendations and addressing concerns.
- Quality Control: Assist in quality inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client satisfaction.
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching.
- Material Knowledge: Learn and apply knowledge of various paints, varnishes, and finishes.
- Safety Practices: Follow and uphold job-site safety practices.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and use a complete set of tools required for painting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Painters, with 2 years or more.
- Safety: Understanding of job-site safety practices or willingness to learn and commit to their implementation.
- Communication: Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Documentation: Ability to document daily activities, safety procedures, and project details accurately.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel to project sites within a 90-mile radius of Lancaster, PA (travel pay included after 40 miles). Driver's License required
- Technology: Proficiency in using a smartphone for work-related applications, including time tracking, project updates, and communication tools.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate proficiently in English. Spanish bilingual skills are a plus for interacting with diverse clients and team members.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks that involve walking, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, stooping, and kneeling.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Environment: Moderate exposure to elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, and loud noises.
- Safety Equipment: Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
