Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest technology in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, competitive pay, and benefits that include health insurance, 401k, flexible spending account, paid time off and more.
Our office is family oriented offering no nights or weekends, and a four day work week. The current available position is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8-5, and Friday 8-2 with Mondays off.
Our ideal Dental Hygienist:- Has the ability to maintain a current license/certification in Wisconsin.
- Has experience taking and recording dental histories and patient records and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, to facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
- Has a thorough understanding of how to remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
- Can readily instruct and educate patients in oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, and apply fluoride or sealants
- Helps maintain patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
- Is willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
- Is articulate, service-oriented, and has great eye/hand coordination in order to provide gentle and thorough hygiene care to our patients
- Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Prioritizes patient rapport and outstanding customer service
- Shows a strong respect for all coworkers, regardless of position
- Associate’s Degree from an ADA accredited dental hygienist school
- Current state licensure
- Preferably one year of dental hygiene experience
- Certified in anesthesia and/or sedation
- Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
- Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
