Position Description:

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our client’s cloud infrastructure and solutions, developing, and implementing security standards and best practices, and providing technical guidance to other security architects and engineers. This position is a key member of our client delivery Program Management Office. We are actively seeking an expert in Cloud and on-premises security compliance, architecture, and implementation. Designs security solutions around Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) hosting options on all Cloud Service Provider (CSP) platforms.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you be Zen’s expert across multiple Cloud Service Provider (CSP) designing, developing, implementing and managing security standards, plans and procedures for new and existing platforms. Review and validate security risks and framework gaps in security programs. Engineer and implement PaaS solution stacks that include services of operating system, programming language execution environments, databases, web servers, among others where the system/application owner controls software deployment with minimal configuration options, and the provider provides the networks, servers, storage, OS, middleware, database and other services to host the system/application.
You’ll work with;
- Develop and implement security standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure and solutions in AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP cloud platforms hosted in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
- Software languages such as; Java, Python, Node.js, Golang, R, and ASP.NET
- Content Management Platforms with multisite capability such as; Drupal, WordPress, and SharePoint
- Search Engines such as; Solr, Digital.gov, and Elasticsearch
- Databases (such as; MYSQL, MS SQL Server, Maria DB, and Oracle
- Web server such as; Apache, IIS, and Nginx
- Application server such as; WebLogic, and WebSphere
- Content Delivery Network/Services (such as; Akamai, Cloudflare, Rackspace, and CSP CDN service
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 7+ years of experience performing functions and responsibilities as security lead for complex systems, strongly prefer in cloud security.
- Working knowledge of High FIPS 199 categorization or High Value Asset (HVA) for cloud platforms.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering disciplines.
- Active/Good standing professional certifications in at least one (1) of the following: CISSP, CISA, CISM or CCSP.
- Experience with public cloud providers (certificate preferred) such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
- Experience with cloud security technologies such as identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
