Mammography Tech

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMammography Technician needed for a local healthcare facility. Must be experienced and have a valid certification. The schedule for the permanent Mammography Technician is Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and the pay range is $25.00-$35.00 per hour DOE.
Mammography Technician qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years recent hands on experience
2. Formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA approved school
3. Active Certification (ARRT and/or CRT)

Mammography Technician responsibilities:Confirm patient identityAdjust equipment as needed to for optimal resultsConducts preventative maintenance on all equipmentComplete patient chartingParticipate in continuing education and stay up to date professional publicationsThis position requires a background check, drug test, employment and credential verification
