THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR DOGGIE DAYCARE COUNSELOR
THE SCHEDULE: This pet care position can be either part-time. The typical schedule is four or five days per week, including one weekend shift and either three or four weekday shifts. Shifts can be anywhere between five to eight or nine hours. Some work on holidays can be expected.
YOUR ROLE: As a Doggie Daycare Counselor, you take charge of managing and interacting with dogs in playgroups. Your duties also involve ensuring their well-being by cleaning crates, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, doing laundry, and more. You play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized environment while providing attentive care and creating a positive experience for our furry friends.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform the physical requirements for the job, including lifting up to 30 pounds and spending the majority of the shift on your feet
- Work one Saturday or Sunday shift weekly and some holidays
Experience working in pet care would be a plus.
