We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working across departments to identify business needs, analyze data, and develop solutions utilizing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your proficiency in Python, Angular, and Autosys to automate tasks, build data pipelines, and develop solutions.
  • Utilize SQL queries to access and manipulate data from various sources.
  • Generate reports and dashboards using Splunk and SmartIS to visualize data for stakeholders.
  • Analyze report output to identify trends, understand root causes of issues, and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decision making skills to recommend solutions that address business needs.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and analysis findings in both written and oral formats.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and management materials to effectively convey recommendations and plans.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar function.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Angular, and Autosys.
  • Experience with generating reports using Splunk dashboards, SmartIS, and writing SQL queries to access data from various sources.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SDLC, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in the Investment Banking industry is a big plus.

  • Duration: 6 months contract
  • Type of contract: contractor (C2C or w2 hourly)
  • Location: Preferred Manhattan, NY.
  • Work arrangement: Hybrid. Must be able to visit the office. 
  • Timezone: Eastern time
  • Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship
