Mfg Buyer

We are looking to fill a full time Buyer / Purchasing Agent position with a manufacturer located in the area of City of Industry, CA.

• Analyze purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  
• Identify and develop new vendors to expand our supplier base.
  
• Secure the best deals through negotiation and competitive bid analysis.
  
• Place timely orders and efficiently manage the purchasing process.
  
• Resolve order discrepancies and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for the department.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
  

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Buyer or similar procurement role.
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles (a plus).
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Top-notch negotiation and communication abilities.
  
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  
• Proficiency in Excel and strong mathematical skills (fractions, decimals, etc.).
  
• Experience with Epicor ERP System a plus (we'll provide training if needed).
