Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting tests and sampling of environmental materials, such as air and building materials, operating field monitoring equipment, and providing support for the operation and maintenance of remediation systems. Additionally, the Restoration Asbestos Technician may assist with asbestos surveys & abatement projects.

Qualifications:

· Positive and fun attitude

· Able to perform physical labor and able to lift 75 lbs

· Must be able to read and write fluently in English

· Clean driving record required

· Experience in the construction or restoration trades a plus, but not required

· Required 1-2 years experience taking environmental samples.

· Required currently hold an AHERA building inspector certification.

· Proficient using environmental testing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections for lead, asbestos, and mold in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to collect accurate and representative samples for analysis.
  • Perform sampling for lead, asbestos, and mold according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, sample results, and recommendations for remediation or mitigation.
  • Provide expert oversight and guidance during lead and asbestos abatement projects to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Hold and maintain AHEARA Building Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor Certification to ensure expertise and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices pertaining to lead, asbestos, and mold remediation.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to address environmental concerns and facilitate compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assist Production Managers in All things “RMR” as needed.
  • Maintain clean appearance and wear appropriate RMR issued uniforms.
  • Live the "Clean Guys" protocol.

Compensation for Part-time Employees:

Job Types: Full-time
Pay Rate: $50-60k salary
