Job Summary:

As a Screw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screw machines in a fast-paced production environment. You will work with a team of skilled professionals to produce high-quality products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate screw machines, including Davenports, Wickmans, New Britains, or Acme machines.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Load and unload materials onto machines.
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating screw machines.
• Familiarity with Davenports, Wickmans, New Britains, or Acme machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
• Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift.
