What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem SLP to perform evaluations and treatment in our Garden City clinic location, which houses a beautiful sensory gym equipped with modern speech supplies The caseload will vary from pediatrics to adults.


Job Type: Per Diem

Schedule: Weeknights 3-7pm (may choose which days) and/or Saturdays

Pay: $60/hr

Requirements:
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
  • Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
  • Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
  • Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
