Storage Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven individual with excellent communication skills for Data Protection, Backup, and Recovery. The right candidate will work with various teams to deliver solutions, including managing storage infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery. Responsibilities for this Storage Engineer involve daily operations, reporting, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and implementing storage and backup strategies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on storage and SAN expert with extensive experience in consolidation, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:


  • 5+ years experience with CommVault Backup Tool which include Installation, configuration, and management in large data centers

  • Multi-site replication experience with backup policy creation, client configuration across various OS and applications and System migration knowledge

  • Comfortable with GUI and CLI tools for troubleshooting

  • Experience with EMC Data Domain, NetApp NAS/SAN, HPE VSeries, CommVault HyperScale, and IBM XIV storage platforms along with familiarity with Brocade and Cisco SAN switches

  • Extensive Windows and Linux administration experience along with basic understanding of network infrastructure (routing, DNS)

  • Awareness of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) a plus as well as Microsoft and/or Linux qualifications a plus
