Job Summary:

The Production Analyst ("PA") will interact with potential borrowers, lending partners, loan brokers and other sources to review opportunities referred to ReadyCap Lending (“Company”) for consideration prior to submission to Managing Business Development Officer (“MBDO”). The PA will coordinate collection of documents and other information to enable them to review, analyze, process, and determine eligibility, strength of borrower and collateral and will execute opportunity prescreens on behalf of the Company. The PA will use independent analysis, decision-making skills and discretion to assist the Sales Team to achieve loan production & funding goals.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and/or review financial analysis of loans referred by potential borrowers and referral sources which may include, but are not limited to, Loan Brokers, Bankers, Mortgage Brokers, Business Brokers and Realtors.
  • Relationship Management: Conduct initial and ongoing interaction with borrowers and referral sources in a manner focused on enhancing customer and referral source experience.
  • Prescreens: Prepare formal prescreens to present opportunities to MBDO and Underwriting.
  • Packaging: Direct and assist in preparation of complete, high quality, loan application packages to underwriting.
  • Identify any issues that need to be resolved prior to full credit review.
  • Sales Support: Responsible for supporting the Sales Team through compilation of financial, collateral and credit information leading to timely issuance of Proposals.
  • Process Management: Proactively and effectively manage and coordinate transactions with team relationships through a high production environment so that client service levels are achieved on a consistent basis without sacrificing quality.
  • Facilitate Diligence/Closing: Assist with credit analysis and gathering of necessary documentation, and get questions answered during the course of the transaction demonstrating strong drive while achieving positive outcomes.
  • Customer Service: Represent the Company with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of customer service in all interactions. Seek opportunities to develop relationships with referral sources that will earn the Company additional opportunities.
  • Projects: Complete additional projects that may be assigned by MBDO from time to time.

Primary Success Measurements:

  • Support the Company by applying diligent process and insightful analytics to every potential opportunity
    Creativity and follow-through leading to better submissions, smoother hand-offs to other Company functions and more approved loans.
  • Support Managing Business Development Officer and Executive Team to maximize productivity.
  • Work independently and assist BDO in prescreening transactions and delivering proposals
  • Work diligently with borrowers and referral partners to move opportunities ahead quickly and increase quality of new loan referral submissions

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Additional Success Measurements:

  • Internal satisfaction with PA effort, effectiveness and contribution to BDO Team and the Company.
  • Quality of work as measured by MBDO’s subjective evaluation.
  • Growth in BDO Team productivity measured by number of monthly loan referrals prescreened, proposals issued, proposals signed and returned with good faith deposit, and loan approval rate on PA sourced/managed loans.
  • Reduction in loan fallout rate following “money-up”
  • Customer experience and referral source satisfaction
  • Referral source relationship building as evidence by repeat referral business

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, debt financing or equivalent.
  • Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and to meet deadlines. Commercial Lending operations, management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to analyze business and property financial statements.
  • Problem-solver and goal oriented individual.
  • Excellent organization, coordination and time management skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Language Skills:

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from colleagues, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize and follow through on loan requests and handle multiple transactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Tremendous urgency and speed required for fast paced environment, attention to detail and responsiveness necessary.
  • Superior organization and time management.
  • High level of personal accountability.
  • Ability to interface effectively and respectfully with staff of all levels.

Mathematical/Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic financing and real estate.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Strong analytical proficiency.

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Loan Management Systems.
