Are you an energetic and passionate Occupational Hand Therapist looking to make a real impact in a supportive, fun, and professional environment? We have a unique opportunity for you to join our therapist-owned and led clinic, part of a supergroup of private practices here in the Southwest, made up entirely of practicing OT's and PT's. At ProActive Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, we pride ourselves on our "together we're better" philosophy, where everyone knows, likes, and trusts each other. Our leadership team, made up entirely of practicing PTs, is rare in our field and truly sets us apart. And now, we're thrilled to offer a Part-Time/Per Diem opportunity, working 2 days a week at our National City clinic with flexible hours.

What We're Looking For


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong operations and leadership skills to develop team members.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to maximize efficiency.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in teaching and using EMR software.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


Education and Experience:

  • California OT License (Required)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Hand therapy experience preferred.
  • New grads with clinical experience in hand therapy are welcome to apply.
  • PAM certification and HTC through the California Board of OT (CBOT) is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.


Work Environment:

  • Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
  • Routine lifting (5-35 lbs), carrying (5-10 lbs), pushing (5-150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40-50 lbs).
  • Guarding lift loads of 120-140 lbs.
