Job Description:

Methods Machine Tools is looking for a Certified Salesforce Admin to join our team to solve business problems by customizing, building, configuring, and automating technology solutions to deliver business value, enabling users to get the most out of Salesforce technology.


Based on your understanding of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ (Configuration, Pricing, and Quoting), you will be responsible for administrating, managing, maintaining, and improving our Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ application, long term. You will implement best practices that enable our Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering Services and Finance teams to be successful across our quote-to-cash process, creating a frictionless end-user experience.


Core responsibilities include supporting users, managing data, maintaining security standards, and delivering actionable analytics. Also, maintaining the platform, making it as easy as possible for users of any technical level to use Salesforce and staying current on the platform’s new tools, capabilities, and updates. You will help us implement business projects including enhancing the platform to include e-Commerce, Dealer portal, Automated commissions modules, to name a few.


In general, you will be an organized and collaborative team member with effective communication and technical aptitude with the ability to deliver solutions for the business. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships, leveraging your thorough understanding of the Salesforce business process and its value proposition for our company. You can understand the big picture, including best practices for the business and IT groups, and apply a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to execution.


Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for administrating, managing, and maintaining our Salesforce eco-system and best practices for CRM and CPQ configuration, customization, and support, including, but not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles, and permission sets in Salesforce. Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access. Manage CRM Governance Group, updates, and enhancements.
  • Administer and support Salesforce platform (user setups, profiles and roles, reports and dashboards, customized objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow, and validations)
  • Identify and gather requirements, translate into best practice, and create scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Research, recommend, procure, implement, and manage Salesforce applications, plugins, and third-party modules to increase capabilities for the business, based on growing future needs.
  • Manage third-party vendors and work to keep internal and external project members on deadline.
  • Design a roadmap for ongoing enhancements to the CRM platform and lead on the management of those projects.
  • Assist in data import/export/updates and system customization.
  • Assess current page layouts for mobile devices, determine improvements for mobile functionality
  • Future roadmap projects such as Dealer portal, E-Commerce, Automated commissions, among others.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce CPQ rules for new and existing products.
  • Maintaining quote templates using the Conga platform.
  • Support data security (role hierarchy & rules sharing)
  • Create reports and dashboards.
  • Drive adoption of Salesforce CRM and CPQ across the company.
  • Recommend Salesforce CRM and CPQ development best practices while delivering scalable high-quality solutions.
  • Stay current on new Salesforce features and functionality to ensure compatibility with existing development.
  • Provide new user and ongoing user training.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and consultative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate thoughtfully and effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders in person, virtually and in writing.
  • Ability to continuously learn new capabilities and apply new ideas and technologies to meet evolving needs.
  • Highly accountable and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.

License/Certification/Education:

· Salesforce Administrator Certification, current.

· Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification preferred but not required.

· Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification preferred but not required.

· Bachelor's degree, technical degree preferred.


Required Experience:

· 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce.com Lightening platform, eco-system and best practices for Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ configuration, customization, and support.

· 3-5 years of experience with AppExchange.

· 3-5 years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering Salesforce CPQ.

· 2 years of experience with Conga quote document generation platform, preferred but not required.

· Experience recommending the best performance, scalability, and maintainability of solutions on Salesforce.

· Experience developing reports and dashboards on the Salesforce platform.
