Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPaint TechnicianPeoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent, Family-owned client in Caledonia, MI within the custom-formulated coatings industry. The ideal candidate for a Paint Technician will have an excellent work history and working knowledge of paint industry.Paint Technician Job Summary:
  • Pay: $17.50 an hour
  • Shift Available:
    • 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
  • Custom-formulated coatings meet exacting requirements, application processes, and production productivity in the manufacturing plant, including a full range of specialized painting projects. Proper storage and disposal of paint products and operating various tools and equipment.
Paint Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Applying preparatory treatments to surfaces
  • Preparing and mixing paints and any other substances to be applied
  • Applying paints and any decorative elements
  • Checking the finished item
Paint Technician Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques related to painting.
  • Able to lift 5-gallon buckets and follow a recipe.
  • Methods and techniques related to the safe use, storage and disposal of paint and cleaning products, chemicals, and safe cleanup techniques and practices.
