Job Description: We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship is unpaid, however you will play a key role in promoting Synergy Counseling of NJ on Instagram and TikTok. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while making a positive impact on mental health awareness and life coaching start-up, and this internship has the potential to lead to a paid position as well as bonus pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging content strategies for Instagram and TikTok to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create visually appealing and informative posts, stories, reels, and videos that align with our mission and values.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute social media campaigns that highlight our services, success stories, and upcoming events.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to optimize content performance and audience growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
  • Assist in creating and managing a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and optimal engagement.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Passionate about mental health, personal development, and life coaching.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including content creation and platform-specific features.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative content ideas.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Prior experience with graphic design or video editing tools is a plus.
