Every person who is hired at Apogee has

  1. An area of technical depth. We have folks on our team whose areas of expertise include control theory, statistics and data analysis, experimentation, software (of all types), architecture, system engineering, programming languages, program analysis, etc. Perhaps you specialize in hardware but want to move over to software – we’re happy to chat with you too
  2. Curiosity and an interest in learning We’re a research company, so we spend our time exploring new approaches, prototyping new capabilities, and transitioning them for operational use. Sound like fun? Let us know

Apogee Research conducts research and development of advanced computer network operations (CNO) and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to improve national security. Our focus is to bring cutting-edge research into practice for the Intelligence and DoD communities. We blend agility with rigor to deliver innovative and demonstrably effective solutions. Led by Evan Fortunato Ph.D., we have grown steadily, receiving awards from organizations including SECAF and Arlington Economic and Development. While we appreciate these awards recognizing our financial stability and growth, our core mission is to create an environment where we can focus on solving hard and interesting problems with people we enjoy working with on a daily basis.
