Position Description:

We are seeking an innovative AI Developer to design, build, and implement cutting-edge AI models and algorithms that solve complex business challenges. The role involves developing machine learning solutions, integrating AI systems into existing platforms, and ensuring scalable, high-performance outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement Azure Open AI-powered features within our .NET applications, enhancing functionality and user experience.
  • Work alongside the business analyst to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for AI integration that align with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain AI models using Azure Machine Learning and integrate these models with existing applications to introduce intelligent automation, data analysis, and other AI-driven capabilities.
  • Provide expertise and support for AI-related queries and challenges, working closely with the cloud engineer to ensure optimal deployment and performance of AI solutions in Azure.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, to ensure our applications remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions for the development team on Azure Open AI services and best practices in AI integration.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment of AI features, working closely with the automation tester and scrum master to integrate AI development into our agile processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field, with a strong background in software development.
  • Proven experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on Azure AI services such as Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET development, with hands-on experience in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and the ability to work closely with SharePoint admins to enhance applications with AI capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services, with practical experience in deploying and managing AI solutions in Azure.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $135,000 to $155,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $145,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
