Design Center Sales Representative - (Kitchen Sales Representative)

A Design Center Sales Representative actively assists retail customers and contractors in the design and sale of cabinet and countertops for their kitchen & bath and other project needs.


We are seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer who has:

- A sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

- Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task.

- Excellent customer service skills

- Analysis/judgment, market, product, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (questioning/probing/listening).

As a Design Center Sales Representative (Kitchen Sales Representative) you will design kitchens, bathrooms and other floor plans on the computer system using 20/20 software. Position entails designing, quoting and managing the sales/ordering process for all kitchen, bath, cabinet and countertop projects as well as other design center products, upgrades or accessories that will add value and improve the customer’s expectations. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge on design center products to include design trends, space planning, technical specifications, proper installation, product pricing, and new/upcoming products on the market. You will actively provide customers with information on additional items related to product purchases or directs the customer to other Team Members or departments to complete their projects. (i.e.: appliances, flooring, lighting). The position requires being able to meet or exceed sales goals as determined by management.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:

· Minimum of one (1) year experience in kitchen and bath design/sales

· CAD and/or 20/20 design program knowledge is required

· Building industry knowledge preferred.

· Bachelor degree in Interior Design or related field preferred

· Sales skill training

HOUR REQUIREMENTS:

· Monday - Friday: 8am to 5pm

· Customer appointments as needed on Saturday or weekdays before 8am and after 5pm.
