Responsibilities:

· Review of revenues and expenses for accuracy while examining general ledger postings and rent rolls

· Coordination with Receivable and Payable personnel to ensure timely posting for all transactions in the correct period and proper general ledger coding

· Preparation of supporting schedules for all balance sheet accounts and selective P&L accounts

· Preparing and posting journal entries as needed

· Research, analyze and provide meaningful and accurate information and report as required

· Review of monthly reports to analyze variances reportable to management

· Communication with fellow employees on budget variances and explanations

· Monthly reporting of financial information - balance sheet, profit and loss, yearly comparatives and budget variance reports

· Review fellow accountants' monthly workpapers and financial reports and make recommendations for achieving complete sets of books

· Ensure proper procedures are followed that maintain internal controls

· Handle deadlines and other projects as needed

Qualifications:

· Detail and action oriented, analytical, and problem solver, strong work ethics

· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while managing multiple tasks

· Ultimate professionalism, interpersonal and teamwork skills

· proficiency in Excel

· Industry experience: Real Estate of Property Management is a plus
