Flooring Salesperson

Great news Schillings is currently looking for a Retail Salesperson with an emphasis in Flooring at our Saint John, IN location. This position is full-time with opportunities for advancement and offers excellent benefits. A typical schedule would be Monday through Saturday with a day off during the week. No Sundays or late evenings

Responsibilities:

• Check orders/designs for accuracy
• Create and ensure accuracy for estimates
• Greet all customers (with a smile) as they walk in
• Obtain and maintain product knowledge on all products sold in the flooring department
• Know how to price all brands offered
• Inform customers on features and benefits of all brands
• Generate sales reports
• Process an order, special order, estimate, and returns accurately and efficiently
• Use POS efficiently to obtain any information needed
• Maintain a general knowledge of all products/services offered by Schilling.

Education/Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
• Persuasive and people-orientated
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Sales experience preferred
