The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. This mid-level position plays a crucial role in supporting the financial planner team to deliver financial advisory services to our clients. Applicants should have a good understanding of financial planning concepts and a keen eye for detail.Job Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the research and analysis of financial plans and strategies.
  • Preparing financial statements, summaries and client presentations.
  • Reviewing and updating client information to stay current with changing regulations, standards and best practices
  • Coordinating with the Financial Planner team in managing and organizing clients’ portfolios
  • Complying strictly with all applied regulations and legislation concerning financial planning.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • Series 7 and 66 is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner
  • Robust knowledge of financial planning software
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Adept with MS Office Suite, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
