Receiving Clerk

Monday-Thursday from 7AM-5:30PM

Receiving Department

• Main duties consist of Checking docking list, verifying counts, (overage/underages) emailing for corrections, running slips, and applying slips.

• Utilize the previous shifts hand off email to dictate what to check/sort/slip first thing each Morning.

• Help sort, combine, count, run rolls tags and properly apply them – verify and receive.

• Communicate with imports for overages more than 5pcs and email containers as complete with proper notifications regarding what needs to happen to the remaining pcs on said container list.

• Have the proper knowledge to utilize the cams system to receive product into the correct locations as well as being able to accurately dictate and locate these items in the cams system.

• Communicate with Supervisor & Lead upon any issues that may arise during the process of checking a container or receiving a container.
• Must be able to accurately utilize problem solving skills while correcting issues with product/mixed styles/miscounts/running labels.

• Properly file the docking list when completed & scan a copy to the supervisor.

• Promotes a positive and respectful attitude with other employee’s and while communicating via email with Tcw & Nourison employees.

• Always follow company rules and safety policies.

• Email Tcw contacts & proper Nourison contacts upon emptying or swapping out containers – only in the absence of the supervisor.

• Will need to update the container chart – Only in the absence of the Supervisor.

• Will need to send an end of day handoff to each receiving member and manager/plant manager – Only in the absence of the supervisor.

• Must be able to use the previous shifts hand off to give direction to the guys on the floor and keep things moving at a steady work pace – only in the absence of the floor lead.
