The Property Maintenance Technician will be part of a team responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility maintenance operations at GA Telesis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of facility maintenance management, a proven track record in leading facility teams, and a commitment to upholding industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the facilities.
- Develop and maintain asset plans including space planning, expansion, and optimization; and manage daily operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align facility objectives with overall business goals.
- Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee the operation of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, security, and emergency response procedures.
- Optimize facility space to enhance operational efficiency and accommodate future growth.
- Select, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Maintain environmental KPI’s, facility inspection reports, safety records, waste management reporting, and OSHA injury/accident reporting.
- Ensure that vendors comply with contractual agreements and industry standards.
- Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure that facilities comply with all relevant laws and standards.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to safeguard employees and visitors.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to address various scenarios, ensuring the safety of occupants and assets.
- Conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Knowledge of aviation health and safety regulations and standards.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
