OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE
  • The KidStrong Coach will focus on coaching children on brain, physical and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
  • The idea candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding the why behind KidStrong curriculum.
  • Our classes run weekdays 9am-11:30 am and evenings until 7 pm.*
  • On weekends we start at 9am and run through lunch time.
  • There is an opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on center needs.
  • There is an opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday party, camp and parents' night out coaching hours.
  • This is a year-round position; candidates with summer-only availability will not be considered.
*Schedule is subject to change at any time based on member needs.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Big personality and need to be ability to project your voice.
  • Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
  • Current CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
  • Minimum coaching availability required: two weekday evenings per week (3:30 pm - 7:30 pm) and one weekend day per week (8:30 am - 2:00 pm).
  • Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred.
  • Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
  • Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who just gets a job done.
  • If you enjoy the spotlight, this position was meant for you.
  • Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
