  • Planning, organizing, and supervising the ongoing operations of the dietary services department
  • Planning and preparing menus and special diets
  • Ordering food supplies to maintain an adequate supply of food stock on hand, checking invoices against arriving supplies, and verifying price and weights
  • Managing daily food service operations
  • Recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members
  • Instructing staff on how to create the meals that you design
  • Maintaining the inventory of kitchens
  • Organizing staff working schedules
  • Purchasing supplies and equipment for operations
  • Interacting with residents to ensure their satisfaction
  • Experience in working in Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
  • Computer literate
