Job Summary
Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI, full-stack development, and cloud technologies. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing innovative AI solutions and leading and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
  • AI Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI algorithms and models, utilizing techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Full-Stack Development: Build scalable and efficient full-stack applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end development.
  • AI Architecture: Develop robust AI architectures and frameworks that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Prototyping: Rapidly create and iterate on prototypes to demonstrate AI concepts and validate feasibility.
  • Cloud Implementation: Deploy and manage AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Cloud Orchestration: Implement cloud orchestration tools and practices to automate deployment, scaling, and management of AI infrastructure.
  • Technical Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and API references.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in automation and AI development.
  • Proven expertise in AI algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with specific AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control).
  • Experience with data engineering and data pipelines.
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects.
