Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre you an experienced Cath Lab Technician with a passion for cardiovascular care and patient safety? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in performing life-saving procedures and supporting interventional cardiology teams during cardiac catheterizations and other specialized cardiovascular procedures.Position: Cath Lab TechnicianLocation: Memphis, TennesseeSchedule: Day 5x8-Hour (7:00 15:30)Duration: 13 Week ContractUnit: Radiology / CardiologyWhat You'll Do:As a Cath Lab Technician, you will be at the forefront of advanced cardiac care, working alongside top cardiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and clinical outcomes.   • Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and other interventional procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the Cath Lab, including setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, and hemodynamic data during procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopes, to capture real-time images of the cardiovascular system.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Ensure proper functioning of Cath Lab equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
  • Educate and support patients and their families, explaining procedures and providing post-procedure care instructions.
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
Requirements:
  • 2 years Cath Lab experience with travel or 3 years Cath Lab experience with no travel
  • Compact or TN License at time of submittal
  • Must live at least 100 miles from facility
  • COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Fly Vaccine
