Job Summary: We are seeking an individual with experience in sign and/or auto body painting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality custom sign painting and paint applications, ensuring precision and excellence in every project.
Responsibilities:
- Custom Sign Painting: Create unique and eye-catching designs, logos, and lettering using specialized painting techniques.
- Paint Application: Apply paint coats evenly and smoothly, ensuring color accuracy and consistency.
- Detailing and Finishing: Perform detailed finishing work, such as buffing, polishing, and clear coating to achieve a flawless appearance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the fabrication team to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience painting signs and/or autobody painting.
- Skills: Proficiency in various painting techniques, including airbrushing and freehand painting. Knowledge of automotive paints, materials, and tools.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Creativity: Strong artistic skills and the ability to conceptualize and execute custom designs.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to painting and finishing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certification in auto body repair and painting.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the sign and/or auto body painting industry.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of sign painting or auto body painting projects.
