What does a Sand Blaster do for SpecSys?

• Do all necessary safety checks daily
• Control shot blast media levels
• Properly clean and maintain PPE
• Follow schedule provided by paint lead
• Sets up portable ventilators, exhaust units, ladders and scaffolding.
• Operates lifting and moving devices to move equipment or materials to access areas to be blasted
• Understands waste management and clean up procedures
• Have a basic knowledge of blue print reading

What are we looking for in a quality Sand Blaster candidate?

• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Is able to bend, crawl and be on feet for 8 plus hours per work day
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• OR any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
