Role and Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance and consultation on fertilizer formulation, raw material selection, and production processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality control, to optimize product performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Quality Control and Testing: Develop and implement robust quality control protocols to ensure the consistency, purity, and efficacy of our fertilizer products. Conduct comprehensive laboratory testing, analyze results, and provide recommendations for quality improvements and troubleshooting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local and international regulations on fertilizer composition, labeling, and environmental impact. Ensure our products meet all regulatory requirements and provide expert advice on compliance matters.
- Product Development: Work closely with the R&D team to drive innovation and develop new fertilizer formulations. Conduct research and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in fertilizer chemistry, identifying opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
- Customer Support: Collaborate with customers and sales teams to address technical inquiries, provide product recommendations, and offer technical training on fertilizer usage and application. Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your expertise to build strong customer relationships and drive customer success.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and forums, representing our company as a thought leader in fertilizer chemistry. Contribute to technical publications and engage in knowledge sharing to establish our brand as a trusted authority in the field.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Chemistry, Agronomy, or a related field with a focus on fertilizer chemistry.
- Proven experience as a Fertilizer Chemist, with a deep understanding of fertilizer formulation, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory testing methodologies related to fertilizer analysis.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards governing fertilizer production, labeling, and environmental impact.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide practical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
