Carolina Ale House is seeking an energetic and skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC

As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility with work schedule including working late nights and weekends. The average number of working hours are 55 hours per week.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform line and prep functions alongside hourly employees
  • Perform food & smallware orders as needed
  • Help maintain a fully staffed BOH department
  • Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and other members of management
  • Oversee all foodservice operations
  • Maintain a clean & sanitary BOH environment
  • Help maintain budgeted labor & food costs
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Ensure the safety of employees & guests at all times
  • Uphold all company values and standards at all times
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested 


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years working in a back of house role in leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude when under pressure.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering top-quality dishes.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
