Toffler Associates is seeking a Cyber Operations Planner to join our growing team working with a Federal Security Agency. In this role, you will support the client and work with U.S. Government partners to ensure the client equities are represented in whole of government cyber campaign planning efforts and nation-state focused cyber threat working groups, and other appropriate events/groups. Your efforts will help ensure the client's capabilities are incorporated into unified campaign plans and other whole of government initiatives, directly contributing to our nation's security and resilience. Your impact will include:

  • Supporting client engagements on a team of 20+ staff, while leading a workstream of 4-5 people to ensure quality successful delivery to our clients
  • Developing and improving business processes for government or private sector organizations, with a focus on analyzing mission requirements to determine what resources and skills are needed to meet objectives.
  • Developing operational plans that drive defensive cyber operations
  • Fitting the qualitative and quantitative research streams into the needs of our dynamic clients project
  • Applying Toffler Associates frameworks to organize insights as it relates to the needs of the clients
  • Understanding, synthesizing, and conducting research and analysis that drives findings for our clients

You'll arrive equipped with:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) Computer Science or other STEM discipline
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience with cyber defense operational planning, cyber threat intelligence, and interagency coordination. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 yrs of experience in one of the following areas:
    • Developing operational plans that drive defensive cyber operations; including the ability to work with a wide range of partners, preferably including private sector partners, on complex cybersecurity topics. OR
    • Facilitating the development and execution of cyber operations plans across multiple organizations, either public or private. OR
    • Using cyber threat intelligence and cyber vulnerability data to develop cyber risk analyses that inform organizational prioritization and cyber operations. OR
    • Developing detailed intelligence plans to satisfy cyber operations requirements. This experience must demonstrate proficiency in collaborating with cyber operations planners and cyber partner integration planners to identify, validate, and levy requirements for the collection and analysis of cyber threat intelligence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to commute regularly within the Washington, DC metropolitan area
  • An active Top Seret/SCI clearance
