Job Summary:

The Mobile Service Technician at Kelly Ford in Beverly, Massachusetts will be responsible for performing mobile vehicle repairs, maintenance, and services for our customers' vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, specifically in the skilled labor/contractor field. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently to provide high-quality service to our customers. This position offers a competitive salary of $30 to $40 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

- Travel to assigned locations to perform mobile vehicle repairs, maintenance, and services for customers' vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components in vehicles
- Communicate with customers to explain repair recommendations and answer any questions they may have
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair/service
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and repair processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have own tools
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Availability to work weekends and after-hours as needed
- ASE certifications preferred
