At Mad Science, we are having a blast We pay you to have fun Build and fly rockets, demonstrate lasers, explore the states of matter using dry ice, and help children create slime and other polymers. Job Summary
  • As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the worlds leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating a one-hour workshop, or multi-hour/multi-day camp using a pre-set curriculum
  • Each session is high-energy. Its part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on class or camp
  • Enjoy teaching children the fascinating wonders of science

Qualifications
  • Some experience working with groups of elementary age (5-12) children (such as CCD instructor or camp counselor).
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • A reliable car and valid drivers license.
  • Fun and outgoing personality
  • Complete a background check.
