Position Overview: Desperados is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Food Expediter. The Food Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the customers' tables, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
2. Inspect dishes for accuracy, quality, and presentation before they are sent out to customers.
3. Communicate effectively with frontline staff to prioritize orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
4. Monitor food temperatures and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
5. Assist in garnishing and plating dishes as needed to uphold the restaurant's standards.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
