We are looking for a rock-solid estimator to join our team


Olmsted Aggregate is a leading aggregate provider in the greater Rochester area.  With three quarry and pit locations, we provide a variety of rock, stone, sand, and dirt for commercial and residential use.


Responsibilities:

  • Provides detailed aggregate and trucking estimates to customers
  • Assist the scale attendants and office staff with customer inquiries
  • Use different applications to find/bid work for local projects, various contractors and government entities
  • Communicate with customers to schedule product pick-ups and deliveries
  • Attend township meetings, after regular working hours, to bid road rock
  • Partner with truck dispatch on township schedules
  • Mark township roads with flags to ensure proper disbursement of aggregate
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Communicate with Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate billing of jobs, may complete billing as needed
  • Run aggregate gradations when necessary
  • Manage social media profiles to market products in creative ways
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 


Physical Demands:

  • Sit/Stand in scale house or at desk for long periods of time
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with customers
  • Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
