Animator (Video Games)

W2 6 Month Contract

Onsite, Richardson, TX

$30/hr

We are an online gaming studio seeking an Animator to join our team in making AAA games. This position will be responsible for partnering with Partner with Gameplay and Narrative Design Animation teams in editing motion capture data.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the motion capture animation pipeline.
  • Clean motion capture data
  • Edit cleaned animation for use in AI and cinematic implementation.
  • Organize and accurately estimate animation tasks.
  • Collaborate with lead and principal animator for direction.

Qualifications:

  • Demo reel and breakdown from school, personal, or professional experience
  • Maya proficiency required.
  • Keyframe animation skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic animation principles.
  • Adaptable to new technologies/programs
  • Understanding of game animation and implementation
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and willingness to work through an iterative process.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for video games
  • Familiar with id Software and Bethesda games.
