Position: Commercial Painter

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Full-Time, M-F 8-5

Pay: $25-$27/Hr. DOE

SUMMARY:

Commercial Painter


A long-time well known Alaska real estate development firm is seeking a reliable professional painter to work in their Anchorage commercial properties portfolio. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic local company with good long-term employment potential for the right individual




Requirements

DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Commercial Painter


  • Completes tasks using the standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the paint trade.
  • Paint interior and exterior of commercial properties.
  • Expertise in paint work preparation, protection or surroundings, application, color mixing & matching, and minor repair work as needed for projects.
  • Scaffolding set-up and all pre-painting preparations as required.
  • Experience with painting equipment, such as power washers, paint sprayers, and scaffolding.
  • Physical stamina needed to meet the demands of this role, comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations and adhere to the occupational hazards and safety precautions necessary in paint work.
  • Additional duties and tasks as needed or assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Commercial Painter


  • Minimum of 3 years professional painting experience.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible, reliable, prompt, good attendance, team player.
  • A valid Alaska driver's license, reliable personal transportation to travel to properties is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background Check and Drug Screening is required.
